CLear Aligners

Using a series of custom-made series of aligners created and designed specifically for you by Dr. Stang, clear aligners begin transforming your smile from the day your treatment is initiated with Stang Family Orthodontics! Clear aligners are made of comfortable and virtually invisible plastic that are easily slipped over your teeth.

cONVENTIONAL bRACES

Metal braces are the most common type of braces for orthodontic patients…keeping it classic. Today’s metal braces are much smaller, flatter, and more comfortable than in the past. Patients of all ages choose metal braces to help them achieve straight, beautiful smiles, and you get to choose from a plethora of colors!

Lingual bRACES

Lingual braces are an orthodontic
treatment method where the brackets and wires that produce the tooth alignment are attached to the backside (tongue side) of the teeth, as opposed to the front side like traditional braces.

Once you’re approved for treatment, we will take scans or impressions of your teeth to ensure your Invisalign trays fit perfectly. When your aligners arrive at our office, you’ll come and pick them up to begin your treatment.

Dr. Blalock

Dr. Blalock grew up on a beef cattle farm in Crossville, TN. The time he spent working on the farm taught Dr. Blalock valuable problem-solving skills and a good work ethic. After Dr. Blalock suffered a dental injury when a cow’s hoof contacted his teeth, his dentist repaired his smile and sparked a fascination for the art of dentistry. Because of that experience, Dr. Blalock realized his calling was to become a dentist. He loves that dental work gives him the ability to work creatively with his hands while interacting with patients and making a positive impact on their lives.

Dr. Blalock graduated Summa Cum Laude from Tennessee Tech University with an undergraduate degree in health science biology. He went on to graduate with honors from the University of Kentucky College of Dentistry

Dr. Christine Stang

Dr. Christine Stang is a lifelong native of Virginia and grew up in the Shenandoah Valley.

Dr. Stang’s philosophies include practicing state-of-the-art orthodontics, committing to give personalized care to each of her patients, and striving to exceed their expectations on a daily basis.

Her favorite aspects of practicing orthodontics are the wonderful relationships she forms with her patients and the positive changes that come with successful care and treatment.

She is fun, energetic, and understands that creating a beautiful, confident smile can truly change a person’s life. Dr. Stang will be following in Dr. Dibbs’ charitable footsteps as she will take over as the new Orthodontist for Reston Smile Partners.
